F.E.Tek Company delivers E-routable map of Azerbaijan for users of GPS-navigators

F.E.Tek Company offers GPS navigation services for civilian use in Baku and Azerbaijan, F.E.Tek director general, Fikret Huseynbayov, told Trend .

Huseynbayov said that F.E.Tek company offers GPS navigators Garmin with the electronic route map of Azerbaijan being the official distributor of the world leader in the development and production of navigation equipment of U.S Garmin company.

There is no fee for use of service, as communication operators are not involved in all of the above-mentioned services.

All GPS receivers are a 12-channel. It means that it is possible to receive signals from 12 GPS satellites simultaneously.

Huseynbayov said that at present, e-map of the Republic is full-service. Updating of Azerbaijan and Baku's map is carried out monthly. All innovation (appearance of new highways, bridges, buildings, facilities, or change of street addresses, etc.) are reflected on the map. Any client of the company can update interactive map via the Internet free of charge from September.

Interactive map of Azerbaijan is protected from break-ins. Copying to another machine is impossible. Map is created on licensed software of Garmin.

Garmin GPS navigators have convenient user's interface, night and day modes, great details and lots of addresses and facilities, such as schools, universities, post offices and state enterprises, filling-stations, shops, restaurants, hotels, net of all roads and streets, etc. Garmin Navigator allows to build the shortest route, given traffic, avoiding violations of traffic rules in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan.

Car navigators with sound prompting provide drivers with not only visual information, but also warnings of turns, and other characteristics of the road.

GPS navigators greatly ease identification of location of mobile and static facilities, search of terminal in the map and determination of optimal route. First, drivers began to use these devices. GPS navigators became principal assistants on the road.

It is possible to make long trips to unfamiliar areas and return to the starting point any moment with the help of automobile navigators. GPS navigators are designed to be used both in a car or and while walking.
GPS navigator is equipped with a terrain map. Its image is displayed. Maps allow to get information on the latitude and longitude, as well as determine location of the facility in any part of the city or highway. At present, navigators with maps of Baku, Azerbaijan, as well as European countries are sold.

F.E.Tek will update the map of Azerbaijan by nteractive way for users of Garmin GPS-navigators via the Internet soon.

F.E.Tek offers automotive, sports, travel, mobile (for smartphones), and marine GPS-receivers. The cost of equipment is determined depending on the functionality of the machines (from 190 manats and more). There are GPS devices with maps of all countries of Europe, equipped with Bluetooth, mp3 player, etc. Garmin company together with Asus will deliver mobile phones with navigation on the market soon.
