The Turkmen Natural Resources Ministry holds National inter-ministerial dialogue on climate changes workshop for officials of state organizations.
The workshop is being held through the assistance of the UN Development Program.
Turkmenistan
demonstrates a firm commitment to an obligation to prevent climate change, the
Natural Resources Ministry said.
One of these is the preparation of national communications on climate, which
conducted an inventory of greenhouse gas emissions, assessment of climate
change mitigation, vulnerability and adaptation measures.
The UN DP project aims to build capacity and raise awareness of those
responsible for the development of national and global environmental
protection, and energy strategies and action plans.
