TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 13. In 2024, Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) surpassed its production targets, with manufactured goods worth 38.15 trillion soums ($2.92 billion), Trend reports via the complex.

Additionally, consumer goods worth 7.5 billion soums ($575,483) were produced, further contributing to the company’s strong performance.

The Kalmakyr ore achieved its target for ore extraction, completing the task at 101.6 percent, with a remarkable growth rate of 104.6 percent. The forecast for copper ore processing was also exceeded, reaching 100.1 percent with a growth of 101.6 percent. The Copper Ore Enrichment Plant-2 exceeded its goal with 100.7 percent of its target completed.

The production of cathode copper, the complex's primary product, was executed according to plan, with a target completion of 100 percent. When it comes to cathode copper production from domestic raw materials, AMMC exceeded its goal by 7.4 percent, achieving a growth rate of 104.1 percent. Furthermore, the forecast for copper content in concentrate was achieved at 103.1 percent, with the copper enrichment plant performing at 104.2 percent.

The company also exceeded its target for zinc production from domestic raw materials, completing the task at 117.1 percent.

AMMC's Khndiza ore, which handles polymetallic ore extraction and processing, completed its tasks with an impressive 100.5 percent achievement while exceeding the forecast for zinc content in zinc concentrate by 6.7 percent.

Angren and Chodak ore, along with the Kauldy mine, fully met their targets for extracting and processing gold-containing ore, as well as the content forecasts for both gold and silver in the concentrate.

In addition to these milestones, AMMC met its production goals for copper sulfate, enamel wire, technical selenium, tellurium, ammonium perrhenate, palladium powder, and sulfuric acid, marking a successful year for the complex in 2024.
