TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 10. In the first quarter of 2025, Uzbekistan's Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) successfully fulfilled all projected export targets for its manufactured products.
The data obtained by Trend from the AMMC indicates that the complex exported goods worth $101.7 million, reaching 105.4 percent of the planned figure.
The list of exported products included cathode copper, copper wire rod, zinc, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, cadmium, and technical tellurium.
Meanwhile, AMMC’s export geography continues to expand each year. Currently, the company supplies its products to 19 countries. In 2024, AMMC entered several new foreign markets, including Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, and Portugal, where it exported copper wire rods and copper sulfate.
AMMC plans to expand its export geography by 2025 through supplies of products to Israel and Morocco.
