BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Iran’s non-oil exports to Kazakhstan have declined by 31.4 percent in value and 30.7 percent in weight in the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 - May 21, 2025), compared to the same period last year (March 20 - May 20, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs
Administration (IRICA) indicates that Iran facilitated the
exportation of non-petroleum commodities to Kazakhstan, amounting
to a fiscal value of $29.4 million and encompassing an aggregate
weight of approximately 60,800 metric tons.
The analytics indicate that the non-petroleum export metrics to
Kazakhstan were quantified at $42.9 million in revenue and a volume
of 87,800 tons for the corresponding timeframe of the previous
fiscal year.
The IRICA report delineates that Iran predominantly engaged in the
exportation of agricultural and alimentary commodities, tobacco
derivatives, petrochemical products, and a spectrum of ancillary
industrial materials to Kazakhstan.
The aggregate trade throughput between the two nations during the
specified timeframe culminated at approximately $36 million,
encompassing a volumetric mass of nearly 82,800 tons. This reflects
a contraction of 36.3 percent in monetary value and a decrement of
33.3 percent in physical weight relative to the preceding fiscal
year.
Moreover, the report from Iran's Customs Administration reveals that Iran's total non-oil exports during the first two months of the current year amounted to $8.24 billion in value and 24.6 million tons in weight. While the value of non-oil exports slightly decreased by 0.11 percent compared to last year, the weight of exports saw a notable increase of 4.4 percent.
