Ardakan County in Yazd Province has the capacity to turn into a textile hub in Iran's textile industry, said a representative of Ardakan County in parliament.
People of Ardakan have a long history and connection with the textile industry, this industry consumes little water and generates low pollution, said Mohammad Reza Dashti, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Seyed o Shohada textile factories are old and it is necessary to renovate its machinery and officials should consider the capacity of Ardakan in this industry. People and especially workers should own shares of the factories," he said during his visit to the factories.
