Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 September / Trend / Azerbaijan plays an important role in stability of the region, Katalin Szili, the Hungarian National Assembly speaker said at a meeting with Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister on 5 September.
According to Szili, Hungary is interested in diversity of transit routes.
It is important to settle conflicts in post soviet countries in order to provide security of energy passages in the region, Mammadyarov said.
їEach country should be interested in solution of existing conflicts, as well as establishment of stable and reliable neighbor relations in South Caucasus,ї the Foreign Minister stressed.
According to Mammadyarov, it is possible to solve the Armenian and Azerbaijani conflict on the base of Azerbaijanїs territorial integrity and inviolability of its borders.
The meeting focused on discussions of cooperation in legislative and non-oil field between two countries, as well as Azerbaijanїs integration to the European Union (EU).
