The Director-General of the Public Television of Georgia (PTG) was threatened with death. PTG Director received an email, which promised to deal with him and his family, the Georgian Interior Ministry's official said at a briefing on April30.
As a result of operational and investigative activities, Nikoloz Chikhradze was arrested.
He has already admitted that he sent threatening letters. "I did this because I think that director does not allow PGT to render unbiased reports about demonstrations and actions. Therefore, I disliked him," Chikhradze said.
