BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. Azerbaijan reduced imports of tobacco and tobacco products by 4.67 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the same period last year - to $54.3 million, Trend reports.
According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, imports of tobacco and tobacco products in the reporting period of last year amounted to $57.01 million.
The share of imports of tobacco and tobacco products in the reporting period of 2024 amounted to 0.61 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports.
To note, Azerbaijan increased imports of tobacco and tobacco products in 2023 by 23.54 percent compared to 2022, up to $119.9 million.
