BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. In the tapestry of trade, Azerbaijan wove 107,737 tons of cotton fiber, a treasure valued at $161.42 million, and sent it sailing across borders from January through October of this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that the export volume increased by 53,103 tons (97.1 percent) compared to the same period last year, while the value rose by $62.96 million (63.9 percent).
During the reporting period, the costs of exporting cotton fiber accounted for 0.71 percent of Azerbaijan's total export expenses.
