BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. The export metrics from Azerbaijan to Germany exhibited a significant uptick in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee indicates that this figure amounted to $228.3 million, up $225.8 million (92.6 times) compared to the same month in 2024 ($2.5 million).
During the reporting month, trade turnover between the two countries equaled $283.4 million, growing by $223.4 million (4.7 times) from January 2024 ($60 million).
Meanwhile, the value of products imported from Germany to Azerbaijan amounted to $55.1 million, which is $2.5 million (4.3 percent) less compared to January of last year ($57.6 million).
In January, Azerbaijan's export metrics to Germany demonstrated
a surplus, surpassing import figures by a substantial $173.2
million, equating to a multiplicative factor of 4.1.
To note, the aggregate trade volume between Azerbaijan and Germany
in the fiscal year 2024 achieved a substantial $1.6 billion. The
outbound trade metrics to Germany registered at $777 million,
whereas the inbound trade metrics amounted to $825 million.
