ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 27. The Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan continues to implement the Concept for the Development of Rural Areas for 2023-2027, which combines key elements of several programs aimed at improving various aspects of life in rural areas, Trend reports.
"Since 2019, within the framework of the 'village—cradle of the country' project, overseen by the ministry, 701 billion tenge (approximately $1.4 billion) has been allocated for the development of rural infrastructure. During this period, about 6,600 projects were implemented in 2,200 villages. Over 5,300 km of engineering networks and 7,900 km of intra-village roads were modernized, and social facilities were built and reconstructed," said Vice Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Bauyrzhan Omarbekov, at a press conference in the central communications service.
According to the statements made, in the fiscal year 2024,
Kazakhstan is set to earmark a substantial budget of 176.4 billion

frameworks.
In aggregate, an estimated 2 trillion tenge (roughly $4 billion) is
earmarked for disbursement from diverse funding streams for the
