ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 9. In 2025, more than
1,000 new projects worth 176.4 billion tenge ($341.9 million) will
be implemented in Kazakhstan's villages, Trend reports via the
Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, as part of the "Aul – El Besigi"
("Village – Cradle of the Nation") program, the projects will cover
500 rural settlements.
"The project has been implemented since 2019 under the instruction
of President Tokayev and aims to improve the quality of life of
rural residents - modernizing engineering and social
infrastructure, increasing the accessibility of basic services, and
creating a comfortable living environment," the ministry said.
From 2019 to 2024, 524 billion tenge ($1.01 billion) has already
been allocated for the development of rural areas. More than 6,600
projects have been implemented in 2,600 core and satellite villages
across the country. Thanks to these, 772 housing and utilities
facilities have been built and renovated in Kazakhstan.
Additionally, 2,100 social facilities, including schools, medical
points, and cultural centers, and over 3,000 intra-village roads
have been constructed.

Since 2019, the initiative, guided by President Tokayev, has focused on modernizing infrastructure, enhancing basic services, and creating more comfortable living conditions. Significant investments over the past few years have funded the development of housing, utilities, social facilities, and roads, benefiting many rural communities across the country.
