TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 5. Uzbekistan has announced a tender for consultancy services as part of the project to modernize the Center for Scientific and Technical Information (CSTI), Trend reports.
The services are being procured under contract PRIM-01-15, within the framework of the PRIM Grant Program under the MUNIS Project. The selected consulting firm will be responsible for conducting a financial audit of CSTI’s activities and providing tax and financial advisory support.
The purpose of the consultancy is to improve financial transparency, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and strengthen the Center’s capacity to participate in donor-funded projects and generate external income. The consultant is expected to play a key role in advancing CSTI’s strategic financial management systems.
Interested companies are invited to submit expressions of interest, demonstrating experience in financial auditing, taxation, and advisory services, particularly in working with public institutions, international donors or grant-funded projects. Familiarity with Uzbekistan’s financial legislation and tax framework, as well as knowledge of international audit standards, is seen as a strong advantage. Fluency in Russian is required for participation.
The selection of the consulting firm will be carried out following the Consultant’s Qualifications-Based Selection method, as outlined in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Borrowers, revised in September 2023.
Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing to the CSTI no later than July 16, 2025, at 18:00 Tashkent time. Additional details and terms of reference can be obtained from the CSTI during working hours.
