The official opening of a small atelier took place April 10 in Azerbaijan’s Oguz district, a source in the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was the initiator of this idea, according to the source.
“Atelier “Narin” was opened through the funds of women entrepreneurs, members of the Association,” the source noted. “Up to 15 seamstresses are involved in sewing. It is expected that the number of women workers will be expanded in the future.”
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to statistics.
