The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from August 12-18, 2019, amounted to 765.3 billion soums, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.
The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 422.9 billion soums, thus exceeding the same indicator of the previous week by 8 percent.
The volume of exchange trading on the platform amounted to 655.4 billion soums, which is 3.8 percent less than a week earlier.
At the foreign exchange trading platform, exported goods worth $ 2.2 million were sold.
In the export structure, polyethylene occupied 90 percent and cotton fiber of different grades took 10 percent.
The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to 16.1 billion soums. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 4.6 billion soums, or 28.7 percent of the total amount of transactions.
Last week, transactions worth 91.4 billion soums were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement. This amounts to 11.7 percent growth compared to the previous week.
The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 19.5 billion soums, with growth compared to the previous week by 16.7 percent.
During the period under review, 632 car license plates were sold through an online auction.
The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 2.5 billion soums.
As a result of competitive bidding, 16.8 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 52.5 percent of deals on category 2 and 30.7 percent on category 3 of license plates.
