Sales of portable computers (laptops and netbooks) in Azerbaijan increased by 7.5 percent in January-September 2018, Global Stats reported on Saturday.
The share of the laptop market in the country was 60 percent at the end of August, which is 2.2 percent more compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the sales of desktop PCs decreased by 9.3 percent in the first nine months of 2018. The share of the desktop PC market in Azerbaijan was 37.7 percent as of October 1, which is 1.2 percent less than in the same period last year.
The tablet computer market accounts for 2.21 percent in the ranking. The indicator decreased 11.6 percent in January-September 2018 and 27.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
