The Iranian government has provided $7 bln (70 trillion rials) in assistance to the country's production and industrial units and to private investors, a government official told IRNA.
About $2.5 bln of this assistance has been provided for industry and mines and another $2.5 bln is being considered, head of the National Development Fund (NDF) Rahim Qorbani told IRNA.
The NDF has allocated 10 percent of its funds for water and agriculture with $1.3 bln in credit given to Kehavarzi Bank and $700 million paid to the Agriculture Support Fund, IRNA reports.
