BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 8. Exports through Iran's Khosravi customs post located in the western Kermanshah province to Iraq grew by 7 percent in value and 6 percent in weight during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through February 18, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2023, through February 19, 2025), Reza Nikravesh, head of the Kermanshah province's customs, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, a total of $873 million worth of 1.78 million tons of products were exported to Iraq through Khosravi in the past 11 months.
The main exports via the Khosravi customs include cement, iron ore, fruits and vegetables, rebar, steel ingots, ceramics, marble, and rubber products.
Nikravesh further noted that in addition to these, other Iranian provinces have exported $303 million' worth of goods, weighing 586,000 tons, through Khosravi customs. This represents a 19 percent increase in value, and 1 percent decrease in weight.
Iran's Customs Administration data shows that the country's total exports of non-oil products amounted to 141 million tons worth $53.4 billion during 11 months. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 19 percent in value and 12.6 percent in weight.
