BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Facilities under 4 development projects have been inaugurated in Iran’s western Kermanshah Province, with 76.8 trillion rials (about $134 million) funding allocated for their implementation, Trend reports via the Information portal of the president of Iran
The inauguration ceremony took place with the participation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and other officials.
As part of the initiatives, the Alborz Baft Danesh factory was launched through a partnership between the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and the private sector. Around 653 billion rials (about $1.14 million) were spent on the plant, which is capable of producing 300,000 bone bio-implants annually and has created 60 jobs.
The bioethanol processing plant operated by the Zagros Green Fuel Development company received an investment of 60 trillion rials (about $105 million). The facility is designed to produce 200,000 liters of bioethanol and 66,000 tons of animal feed per day, employing 230 people.
In the Sarpol Zahab district, a 400-kilovolt power substation was inaugurated, backed by an investment of 15.4 trillion rials (approximately $27 million), aimed at augmenting the regional electricity infrastructure.
Additionally, in Kermanshah, the second phase of Iran’s largest covered orchard was opened, spanning 40 hectares. This phase is expected to yield 2,000 tons of orchard products annually. Around 700 billion rials (about $1.23 million) were invested in the project.
