According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, from January through June 2021, in the structure of total investments in fixed assets in the country, the share of investments of enterprises and organizations, utilized at their own expense without attracting funds, amounted to 31.8 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Committee.
When observing in the context of regions, the largest share was recorded in the city of Tashkent - 51.2 percent of the total investment in fixed assets from all sources of financing.
Moreover, the share of utilized investments at the expense of own funds of enterprises and organizations in the Tashkent region is 43.1 percent, in the Samarkand region - 41.2 percent, and in the Fergana region - 30.1 percent.
In addition, according to the State Statistics Committee, in 2020 the share of investments at the expense of the population amounted to 9 percent of the total investment in fixed assets of Uzbekistan.
When observed in the context of regions, the largest share was recorded in the Khorezm region - 20.7 percent of the total investment in fixed assets from all sources of financing.
The share of utilized investments at the expense of the population in the Andijan region amounted to 20.6 percent, in the Namangan region - 15.3 percent, in the Fergana and Bukhara regions - 13.2 percent.
