Cases of mental illness have increased in Tehran, deputy minister of Healthcare of Iran, Ali Akbar Sayyari said, Fars news agency reported.
He went on to note that currently 21,1 percent of people in Iran have mental issues of various kind.
Sayyari also said that according to newly conducted study, 34,2 percent of people in Iran have mental problems, which need to be taken cared of as soon as possible.
