BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Some 130 energy projects will be implemented in Turkey by the end of 2022, Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend.
According to the ministry, 23.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.6 billion) will be allocated for the implementation of these projects.
"Part of the projects will be financed by attracting loans from abroad for 3.7 billion Turkish liras ($249.8 million)," the ministry said.
Turkey's expenses for the implementation of energy projects amounted to 16.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.1 billion) in 2021.
According to the results of last year, 125 projects in energy sector were implemented in Turkey, for implementation of which funds from foreign loans in the amount of 3.1 billion ($209.3 million) Turkish liras were allocated.
