BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. The nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies and its real effective exchange rate increased as of February 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan shows that the nominal effective exchange rate amounted to 110 points, up 0.8 points monthly and 7.7 points year on year.
Meanwhile, the real effective exchange rate was 184.6 points, increasing by 2.5 points from January 1, 2025, 0.9 points, and 15.6 points compared to the indicator for February 1, 2024, and January 1 this year, respectively.
In Addition, in the reporting period, the real effective exchange rate of the manat for the non-oil sector was equal to 121.5 points, which remained unchanged in monthly terms, and increased by 3.7 points in annual terms.
