BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Azerbaijan executed an import transaction of 86.8 million kilowatt-hours of electrical energy from the Russian Federation in the previous fiscal year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan demonstrates that the financial yield from this electricity export throughput totaled $2.6 million.
The importation of electrical energy from the Russian Federation experienced a contraction of 5.8 million kWh, translating to a 6.3 percent reduction in volumetric metrics, alongside a decline in monetary valuation by $129,000, equating to a 4.7 percent decrease relative to the preceding fiscal year, during which the volumetric figure stood at 92.6 million kWh and the financial assessment was $2.7 million.
