Azerbaijan's loan portfolio shifts toward manat, surpassing foreign currency
As of January 1, 2026, new loans in manat far exceeded those in foreign currency in Azerbaijan. Total loan investments saw a significant increase compared to the previous year. Both short-term and long-term loans in manat rose notably.
