Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 November / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova/ "The Azerbaijani Committee on Architecture and Town Building is devising the Regional Development Program of Baku," Jahangir Gojayev, the head of the International Relations Department of the Committee said on 29 November.
"At present a special commission has been organized at the Committee to devise measures plan," Gojayev said.
The program targets to develop Baku not as the capital of Azerbaijan, but the capital, integrating the country into the world economy, he said.
" Baku is divided into two parts, including an ancient historical and new modern. Therefore, designing the program, which will not prevent development of both parts of megapolis, is a difficult process, taking a lot of time," Gojayev said.
