Economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran is not on the desirable level of the presidents of two countries. Iran intend to implement several programs and expand economic ties between two countries for the next two years, Iranian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagher Behrami told Trend today.
Iran proposed the Azerbaijani side to increase turnover between the countries from $600 million to $4 billion.
"We want to increase cooperation in oil and gas sector, energy, construction, road laying, agriculture and, technologies in Iran for the next two years", Behrami said.
