Azerbaijan and Russia can create a joint venture in geological exploration, Trend reports citing Russian State Geological Company (Rosgeo JSC).
This is envisaged in the trilateral cooperation agreement signed by Rosgeo JSC, Sergo Ordzhonikidze Russian State University for Geological Prospecting and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
Reportedly, document will create the basis for improving the interaction of scientific circles of Russia and Azerbaijan and for active interaction in the field of geology.
“The sides intend to develop cooperation in the field of science, education, training of highly qualified personnel for the industry, the creation and use of innovative technologies for prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits. Under the agreement, the sides will consider the possibility of creating a joint venture for the implementation of projects in the field of geological study of the subsoil, solving problems related to forecasting for deposits, and developing innovative digital technologies,” reads the message.
