BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. A total of 641.4 million tons of oil (including condensate) have been totally produced since commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block and Shah Deniz field until August 1, 2024, Trend reports.
Data from the country's Energy Ministry shows that of this volume, 594.4 million tons of oil accounted for ACG, about 47 million tons of condensate - Shah Deniz, while 639.5 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported abroad.
To note, Azerbaijan produced nearly 16.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) from January through July 2024, up 4.52 percent compared to 17.7 million tons in the same period in 2023.
Meanwhile, 9.7 million tons of this volume accounted for ACG, 2.5 million tons (condensate) - Shah Deniz, and 300,000 tons (condensate) - the Absheron field.
SOCAR's (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) oil production (including condensate) amounted to 4.4 million tons.
