Azerbaijan reveals data on work of information, communication services

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Azerbaijan's information and communication structures delivered services worth 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 billion) from January through November 2023, Trend reports via the country's State Statistics Committee.

The committee's data shows that this indicator increased by 16.1 percent year on year.

The population received 72 percent of these services.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan's mobile service revenues totaled one million manat ($590,000), accounting for 37.3 percent of overall telecommunications market revenues.

Furthermore, revenues from mobile communication and information services in the country climbed by 14.8 percent (358.6 million manat or $210.9 million) year on year in 2022, totaling more than 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion).
