DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, April 19. A draft government resolution on the procedures for the operation of state representatives in Tajikistan’s free economic zones (FEZs) under a single-window system has been developed, Trend reports via the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan.
The announcement was made during a recent session of the Supervisory Council of the country’s FEZs.
The report was meticulously crafted by the Ministry of Economic
Development and Trade in conjunction with pertinent governmental
entities. The submission is anticipated to be presented to the
governing authorities of Tajikistan imminently.
As of the commencement of the fiscal year 2025, a total of 107
entities, encompassing both domestic and international
corporations, have been duly registered within the operational
frameworks of Tajikistan's quintet of Free Economic Zones (FEZs).
The distribution comprises 41 entities within the FEZ Sughd
jurisdiction, 36 within the FEZ Danghara domain, 9 allocated to FEZ
Kulob, 17 designated in FEZ Panj, and 4 situated in the FEZ
Ishkoshim sector.
In the fiscal year 2024, a total of 24 novel entities were
officially registered across various economic zones: 7 within the
jurisdiction of FEZ Sughd, 9 under the auspices of FEZ Danghara, 6
affiliated with FEZ Panj, and 2 operating within the parameters of
FEZ Kulob.
Currently, enterprises in the FEZs are engaged in the production of metal structures, aluminum and plastic profiles for windows and doors, plastic pipes and containers, electrical cables, construction paints, metal-plastic products, electric scooters, wooden windows and doors, finishing materials, furniture, and cleaning supplies.
