President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reelected as president following the elections held on Feb 12 and who assumed his office for another 5-year term will form a government during a month, the official Turkmen source reported on Saturday.
According to the Constitution, a government should be formed during a month after the president assumes his office.
Earlier the government resigned after the president's inauguration in Ashgabat.
Mr Berdimuhamedov accepted resignation of the Cabinet of ministers and instructed it to perform its duties until formation of the government's new composition.
The cabined of ministers (government) is an executive and administrative organ.
According to the Constitution, the government is headed by the country's president.
