BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The Turkmenabat Sewing Factory of Turkmenistan from January through September 2022 manufactured products worth 38.2 million Turkmen manat ($10.9 million), Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The sewing factory exceeded the production plan by 43.7 percent (according to the plan - 26.5 million Turkmen manats, or $7.5 million). The rate of production growth compared to the first 9 months of last year was about 113.6 percent.
The main part of the factory's products is uniforms for the military, as well as clothing for children and adults.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
