TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 29. Uzbekistan's manufacturing enterprises produced goods in the amount of 662.5 trillion soums ($51.2 billion) from January through November 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency shows that this indicator has increased by 35.9 percent compared to the same period last year (487.4 trillion soums, or $37.6 billion in January-November 2023).
The volume of products manufactured in Uzbekistan's mining and quarrying industry reached 84.8 percent of the total industry volume.
Among Uzbek regions, the biggest production volume was noted in the city of Tashkent (132.7 trillion soums, or $10.2 billion). The Navoi region ranked second with a production volume worth 106.2 trillion soums ($8.2 billion), followed by the Tashkent region with 100.6 trillion soums ($7.7 billion).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's enterprises manufactured industrial products worth 780.8 trillion soums ($60 billion) from January through November 2024. This figure has increased by 34.9 percent year-on-year (578.8 trillion soums, or $44.7 billion in January–November 2023).
