Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday once again blasted the West for launching a "false negative propaganda campaign" to portray Iran's nuclear program as a threat, and invited international experts to visit the country's nuclear sites and facilities, Fars news agency reported.
"Experts of all states can come and talk with Iranian experts and also visit Iran's installation since Iranian nuclear facilities - as it has been announced repeatedly - pose no threat to the regional states," President Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with the Speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly (parliament), Jassem Al-Kharafi, in Tehran on Sunday.
He added that the US negative propaganda campaign against Iran's nuclear activities is actually aimed at diverting the world public opinion from Israel's nuclear arsenal.
"The enemy seeks to spread Iranophobia in the region while the Islamic Republic of Iran poses no threat to the regional states," the Iranian president reiterated.
Kharafi, for his part, lauded Iran's close cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over its nuclear activities.
