BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. The exports of non-oil products from Kashan Customs of Isfahan province, located in the center of Iran, decreased by 8 percent in value and 14 percent in weight during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period of last year, the director of Iran's Kashan Customs Administration Amir Adhami told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, 134,000 tons of non-oil products worth $115 million were exported through Kashan customs during the six months.
Adhami added that hardware, carpets, copper products, ceramics, bleaching agents, eggs, ornamental fish, and mining minerals were mainly exported via Kashan customs during the six months.
The official noted that the products were mainly exported to neighboring countries, including the Eurasian Economic Union member countries.
Meanwhile, about 1,500 production enterprises operate in the
Kashan region of Iran's Isfahan province.
Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8
billion during the six months. The exports increased by 6.5 percent
in value and 3.5 percent in weight compared to last year.
