BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. The export of non-oil products through the Isfahan province customs office in central Iran has decreased by 15 percent in value and 19 percent in weight during the seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023), Director General of Iran's Isfahan Province Customs Administration Rasoul Kuhestani told local media, Trend reports.
According to him, 1.09 million tons of non-oil products worth about $719 million were exported through Isfahan province's customs office during seven months.
Kuhestani added that 563 types of products, mainly petrochemical products worth $195 million, iron and steel products worth $166 million, milk and dairy products worth $83 million, carpets worth $52 million, and copper and copper products worth $47 million, were exported from the province during the mentioned period.
The official noted that during seven months, $197 million worth of products were exported to Pakistan, $169 million to Iraq, $72 million to Afghanistan, $59 million to Türkiye, and $56 million to the UAE.
To note, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during the six months (from March 20 through September 21, 2024). The export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
