BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. The gasoline production of Iran's Isfahan Oil Refining Company rose by two million liters per day in the second half of the last Iranian year (from September 22, 2024, through March 20, 2025), the company’s CEO Gholamreza Bagheri told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the company's gasoline production increased from 11 million liters to 13 million liters per day.
Bagheri said that the increase was achieved by hiking the company's crude oil refining capacity by 40,000 barrels per day. Thus, the company's daily crude oil refining increased from 390,000 barrels to 430,000 barrels.
The company official noted that the company's diesel production increased by three million liters per day. Thus, the company's diesel production increased from 23 million liters to 26 million liters per day.
The Isfahan Oil Refining Company began operating in 1979. Currently, it supplies about 25 percent of the country's fuel. This company mainly produces gasoline and diesel. It produces 12 million liters of gasoline and nearly 20 million liters of diesel per day in accordance with the Euro 5 standard, respectively.
