BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. The value and weight of Iran’s non-oil exports through customs of Isfahan Province, located in the country’s center, decreased by 14 percent and 20 percent during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024), respectively, the Director-General of Isfahan Province's Customs Department Rasoul Kouhestani told reporters, Trend reports.
Kouhestani said that during the reporting period, Iran totally exported $1.23 billion worth of 1.8 million tons of non-oil products through the above customs.
He explained that during this period, 749 types of products, mainly petrochemical products worth circa $348 million, iron, steel, and copper products worth around $237 million, milk and dairy products valued at $155 million, carpets worth $108 million, and copper products valued at $90 million were exported through Isfahan’s customs.
The official added that the main export destinations for the products included Pakistan, with $342 million in value, followed by Iraq with $248 million, Afghanistan with $152 million, the UAE with $118 million, and Türkiye with $99 million.
To note, the Isfahan Province is currently managing five customs checkpoints.
