BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Iran's non-oil exports to Kyrgyzstan increased by 70 percent in value and 56 percent in weight during the first month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2025), compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through April 19, 2024).
The data obtained by Trend from Iran's Customs Administration shows that
during the reporting period, Iran's export metrics indicated a
transaction volume of approximately $1.95 million, encompassing
1,860 tons of non-oil commodities, predominantly within the
petrochemical, agricultural, and industrial sectors, directed
towards Kyrgyzstan. This marks a significant decline compared to
the previous fiscal cycle, where the export value reached $6.55
million for 4,260 tons.
Moreover, during the inaugural month of the present fiscal year,
the bilateral trade volume between the two nations reached
approximately $2.19 million and 1,960 tons, reflecting a
substantial contraction of 68.4 percent in monetary terms and a
55.8 percent reduction in physical weight relative to the
corresponding month of the previous year.
The report from Iran's Customs Administration indicates that during
the inaugural month of the current Iranian fiscal year, the nation
exported non-oil commodities valued at $2.94 billion, totaling 8.95
million tons. This reflects a year-over-year contraction of eight
percent in monetary terms and an 8.3 percent decrease in volumetric
weight.
