BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 4. Product exports through customs in Mazandaran Province, located in northern Iran, amounted to 357,000 tons, valued at $54 million, in the two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2025).
The data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration shows that the primary exports included dairy products, cement, rubber materials, kiwis, and various food items, and were mostly exported to Iraq, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
In the past two months, approximately 504,000 tons of products worth approximately $248 million were imported through the customs of Mazandaran Province.
The main imports through the provincial customs were edible oil (crude), corn feed, barley feed, petroleum coke, and wood materials, mainly imported from Türkiye, the UAE, Russia, China, and Oman.
Over the two months, 16,600 tons of cargo worth $9.57 million were transited through the provincial customs to Türkiye, the UAE, Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, and in the opposite direction.
In the same period, the revenue of the provincial customs amounted to 2.31 trillion rials (about $3.7 million).
The Iranian Customs Administration data shows that during the first two months of the current Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 24.6 million tons, worth $8.24 billion. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 0.11 percent in value and increased by 4.4 percent in weight compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through May 20, 2024).
Additionally, in the two months, Iran's non-oil imports amounted to 5.92 million tons, worth $8.47 billion. Non-oil imports decreased by 7.8 percent in value and increased by 1.16 percent in weight compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through May 20, 2024).
