The International Weightlifting Federation may ban participation of Iranian athletes at international competitions after revealing dope from third athlete on weightlifting from this country over the last year.
Dope was found from two members of the Iranian national team on weightlifting in 2009. This time, the fact of dope using by Umid Naidjin has been approved, ILNA News Agency reported.
The Umid Naidjin was positive to dope test two years ago. According to regulation of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) if double-use of dope by athletes is proved, the athlete will be deprived for life of a right to participate in competitions. According to the IWF, if three members of national team turns out positive to dope during a year, the country loses the right to participate in the championship, or imposed to big fines.
