BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 4. Representatives of the Italian business community have expressed their readiness to invest in Kyrgyzstan's economy and share advanced technologies and expertise, Trend reports via the president's press service.
During his official visit to Italy, President Sadyr Zhaparov met with business representatives, focusing on deepening economic cooperation and attracting investments in key sectors of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state emphasized the role of business and culture as tools for strengthening intergovernmental relations. He expressed Kyrgyzstan's interest in partnering with Italian entrepreneurs and investors, noting that the country intends to enhance its collaboration with Italy and promote joint projects and initiatives.
The Italian business and cultural representatives supported this position, highlighting the significant potential for collaboration in trade, industry, energy, tourism, and culture.
Additionally, the meeting underscored the importance of strengthening cultural ties through joint projects in art, cinema, music, and theater, which would serve as an incentive for further developing bilateral relations.
