The construction work of an industrial production unit in the northern Iranian province of Qazvin began on Thursday evening.
The production unit was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by senior Iranian officials, including government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, IRNA news agency reported.
It will be built in the Caspian Industrial Zone in cooperation with Iraqi investors, according to the report.
The estimated cost of the project is 534 billion rials.
The completion of the unit will create jobs for nearly 660 individuals.
The factory will produce cartons, cardboard boxes, and spray cans.
Nobakht also broke the ground on another production unit in the zone.
French investors have agreed to finance a dairy production unit there. They will allocate 34 million euros in finance.
