BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. Azerbaijan exported over 76.534 tons of crude oil and oil products to Spain from January through February 2024, which is 1.66 percent of the total export of raw materials, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, this indicator decreased by 82.03 percent, or 349,309 tons, in annual terms.
The value of the export of Azerbaijani oil and oil products to Spain in the mentioned period amounted to $39.8 million. This is 85.43 percent, or $233.921 million, less than in the same period of 2023.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan exported a total of 4.5 million tons of oil and oil products from January through February 2023, which is 11.2 percent less than in the same period last year (5.1 million tons).
To note, in value terms, oil exports exceeded $2.8 billion, which is 13.06 percent or $424.6 million less than the indicator for the same period in 2023.
