Kazakh First deputy Prosecutor General Iogan Merkel has held discussions with the head of the OSCE Centre in Astana Natalia Zarudny over the draft of protocol of intentions between the Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office and the OSCE Centre in Astana, the press-service of the Prosecutor General's Office said.
According to information received, Ms Zarudna offered to consider the draft Protocol of Intentions between the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan and the OSCE Centre in Astana which in her opinion will identify key areas of joint activity.
Both sides touched upon a wide range of bilateral issues and expressed a common interest in further developing and expanding areas of cooperation.
Mr Merkel informed the head of the Centre of the on-going work under the reforming justice system and highlighted the measures taken in the development of social law. He also congratulated his guest on her new appointment and expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation.
