Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev arrived on his first official visit to Kazakhstan, the presidential press-service reported.
Within the visit Atambayev met with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev at the presidential palace Akorda in Astana.
Atambayev was welcomed by the Kazakh guard of honor and the Orchestra of the Kazakh Republican Guard played the national anthems of both countries.
Then, the presidents arrived in the hall, where negotiations began in tete-a-tete format.
