ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 9. Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan in the construction and industrial sectors from January through September this year, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Baymyrat Annamamedov, at a government meeting held on October 5, 2023.
According to him, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan surpassed the work plan by 10.3 percent, while the Ashgabat city municipality exceeded the work and services delivered by 22.8 percent compared to the first nine months of last year.
Furthermore, Annamamedov stressed that the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan exceeded the planned production and implementation targets by 10.3 percent, while the State Agency for Road Construction Management exceeded its goals by 3.7 percent during the reporting period.
He also added that from January through September of this year, the Turkmenhimiya State Concern manufactured products and provided services worth over 1.66 billion Turkmen manats ($470 million).
Meanwhile, the meeting concluded the outcomes of nine months of efforts in the context of executing the national rural program, highlighting the successful progress in constructing diverse social facilities across the nation.
