BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. Iran’s Isfahan Refining Company has the capacity to boost its daily gasoline production to 15 million liters, Gholamreza Bagheri, the company’s CEO, told reporters, Trend reports.
Bagheri noted that the refinery currently processes 360,000 barrels of crude oil daily, producing about 10 million liters of gasoline, but increasing crude processing to 430,000 barrels per day would lead to higher gasoline output.
He also noted that diesel production at the refinery can reach up to 25 million liters per day.
“The company’s annual revenue is approximately 60 to 70 trillion rials (around $105-$123 million),” Bagheri said, adding that over 70 percent of the products meet Euro standards.
Established in 1979, Isfahan Refining Company currently supplies about a quarter of Iran’s fuel demand.
